The manager, Will, was very kind. Our accommodation was upgraded, which was a pleasant surprise. Will was often at the front desk, so we could easily reach him whenever we needed assistance, which gave us great peace of mind. He also provided helpful suggestions for our travel plans. We were especially glad to include Willowbank Wildlife Reserve in our itinerary, where we got to see many native New Zealand birds and animals. Additionally, he helped us rearrange our visit to the International Antarctic Center to fit it into the day of our return, which worked out perfectly.

Great location near the CBD with ample parking and an easy drive from the airport. Lovely spacious room with TV, wifi, lounge area, kitchenette and storage. Superbly comfortable bed with quality bedding. The room was immaculately clean with a well-equipped kitchenette and the bonus of having a washing machine/dryer too. The bathroom was fully stocked with large shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles - not the tiny single-use pots that don't go far enough.

we booked the deluxe studio with a spa bath. the hot water was consistent. . The receptionist was very knowledgeable and helpful. really loved it that the parking in the motel was inside, safe, and spacious. very clean. neat and chic.

Nice, clean, all the amenities are there. King bed. We had big bathtub in our room (free upgrade), really nice to soak in. Hand shower also helps. Location is close to city centre and shopping mall with groceries. The room service was a bit weird - they didn’t clean anything or change towels, but turned off washing machine which supposed to wash and dry our clothes -_- Not a big deal, just surprising.

The bed was extremely comfortable. I had a double spa bath in my room and the additional bonus was the washer/dryer. It was within walking distance of the City Centre and ideal for for anyone wanting to go for a run in Hagley Park. I can also recommend the Tapas bar opposite the motel. We were lucky enough to go on a Friday night when there was live jazz music.

Friendly and very easy check in and accommodated us with our needs. Very useful to be able to check in early. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Beds too were warm and comfortable. Well appointed with everything you could need. Spa and shower excellent with lovely complementary washes and shampoos etc. The location was perfect for us and handy to a range of shopping and dining options.

Friendly helpful staff on check in, room was spacious and beds set out as requested prior. Spa bath a hit fir weary travellers. Warm and cozy, easy to find and cental but an easy morning drive to airport.

Will was so helpful and caring. Nothing was a problem. We were there while I had an operation and had the disability unit which allowed me to sit while showering. Very comfortable sofa and lounge chair in a good sized room with a comfy bed. Clothes Washing machine a bonus.

It is a very good location - a short drive to the CBD, 10 minute walk to Merivale Mall which includes a supermarket and 6 minutes walk to Hagley Park. Very comfortable bed. The room was a good size and spotlessly clean. Very little road noise.

We arrived later than expected and had to check in after hours. The hotel staff was accommodating, sending us a message an hour before closure with clear instructions on locating the room and accessing the keys. It's worth noting that the hotel offers free parking and provides access to Netflix and YouTube accounts.
